With Christmas 2023 over and the new year just days away, I’ll be taking proactive steps in 2024 for a good life. In the spirit of my blog and coaching service, I will eat, think, and feel well to take on 2024!
You too can use this as a framework to plan for a good life in 2024.
How I plan to eat well
I will eat fewer takeaways; better plan and prepare family meals; and organise more regular lunch/dinner dates with my husband to improve my physical health and emotional well-being.
How I plan to think well
I will think better by fully exercising mindfulness at work by actively prioritising tasks, meetings, and what I say ‘yes’ and ‘no’ to in order to ease my mental load and work more effectively and efficiently.
In addition, I plan to save money more purposefully in 2024 so am researching free money management tools. An app like HyperJar is interesting as I could save money in different ‘jars’ for things like gifts and holidays.
How I plan to feel well
To cleanse and rejuvenate my mind-body system in 2024, I will sleep better, drink more water, and restrict social and digital media access.
I also plan to:
- travel to Leeds more frequently so my Son spends more time with Grandma (my Mum) and his cousins.
- visit Dad’s grave every season
- book a family holiday in the sun
How I plan to stick to this plan
Without a clear schedule or routine in place, I cannot stick to this plan. As such, I will use the e-calendar in my phone, which I use everyday to set reminders for tasks, appointments, and meetings.
I literally plan my routine out on a day-by-day basis and even slot in my husbands working hours (for his shift work) and our Son’s nursery day schedule.
