It’s great to meet you. I’m Patora – a working professional and business owner, a Mum, daughter, caregiver, certified mental health advocate, wellness practitioner, and a progression coach and mentor.
I created Life & Soul Food blog & coaching to give a glimpse into my thoughts and experiences about topics very dear to me. Ones that are also close to many of you, I’m sure.
For the past nine years, I’ve managed conditions and life events that have affected my physical, mental, and emotional health.
- Caring for my father, who’d battled cancer, and my disabled mother, a stroke survivor living with type 2 diabetes.
- Managing my chronic asthmatic, high-risk pregnancy, low PAPP-A, and gestational diabetes.
- Nurturing and raising my baby, now a toddler, controlling his food allergies and intolerances, eczema, and asthma.
I hope my experiences and learnings while practicing self-care, staying resilient, and taking on life can help fellow caregivers and working professionals.

I’m a food lover and appreciate all cuisines. I practice yoga, pilates, transformational breathing, and mindfulness. If I’ve not already organised it, you’ll find me planning that next fun and rejuvenating thing to do! When not working or being a Mum (to an active and thriving toddler!), I volunteer at two UK youth charities as a trustee and an employability & progression mentor.
